Hybrid Online EMT Course - Meet Saturday's

This 10 week class consists of online modules- including power points, interactive lectures, case studies, video review, and weekly live chats with instructor. There is mandatory classroom time once a week for students to be exposed to new skills, practice sessions, lecture review, skills testing, and written exams.

This program is designed to give the student the skills and knowledge to function as a working Emergency Medical Technician at the basic level and to facilitate the passing of the National Registry Exam. The program is intended for those who want to gain employment as a firefighter, emergency care technician at a hospital and Ambulance driver or attendant. It is also for those individuals who are planning on attempting to obtain a higher level of medical training such as RN, PA or MD as an enhancement for the competitive application process for those professions. If you have a criminal background, misdemeanor, felony, i.e., theft, assault, on probation, DUI. Contact the local EMS agency to determine eligibility before you enroll in the EMT course.

Payment plans are an easy way for you to guarantee your spot in a class without making full payment at time of registration.

 $500 due at registration

 $249.00 auto debit every Friday after the class begins. (2) consecutive payments.

 The $500 registration fee is non-refundable. Payments must be made on or before the due dates listed for each class. Failure to pay on assigned date will result in being dropped from the program.

EMT Full Time Course- Orange

EMT Refresher

24 Hour EMT re-certification course

This EMT re-certification course meets the state required hours to recertify your EMT license. The course is designed to be completed in 3 eight hour days to provide you with 24 hours of continuing education units. In order to receive your course completion certificate, you must attend all hours. No exceptions.

Lapse in Certification information:

Lapse of less than six (6) months:

Obtain at least twenty-four hours of continuing education hours (CEH) from an approved continuing education provider or successfully complete a twenty-four hour refresher course from an approved EMT-I training program and submit a completed skills competency verification form.

Lapse of six (6) months or more, but less than twelve (12) months:

Obtain at least twenty-four hours of continuing education hours (CEH) from an approved continuing education provider or successfully complete a twenty-four hour refresher course from an approved EMT-I training program and submit a completed skills competency verification form and complete an additional twelve (12) hours' continuing education for a total of 36 hours of training.

Lapse of twelve (12) months or more, but less that twenty-four (24) months:

Obtain at least twenty-four hours of continuing education hours (CEH) from an approved continuing education provider or successfully complete a twenty-four hour refresher course from an approved EMT-I training program and submit a completed skills competency verification form and complete an additional twenty-four (24) hours' continuing education for a total of 48 hours of training and pass the National Registry written and skills certification exam.

Lapse of greater than twenty-four (24) months:

Complete an entire EMT-I course over again.
